Morse Code, Please! is a journal, not a discussion forum. I've been a CB Radio Operator since 1964, and an Amateur (ham) Radio Operator since 1982. I've held an Amateur "Extra" license since 1983. I utilize scanner radios, Family Radio Service, and the Multi-Use Radio Service. I have an unused General Mobile Radio Service license. I engage in Hobby Radio communication for fun. Its utility is icing on the cake. I offer no "tech talk" or "how-to" information, just general thoughts and observations about Hobby Radio communications.
I don't try to figure out what people want to read. I write what I want to read. Those who want to read the same things I want to read might hang around. Others will go elsewhere. That's how the Internet works. I emphasize "read", meaning you'll find few photos and zero videos here.
I received a Private Pilot Certificate in 1972. Just for fun, I went on to earn an Instrument Rating, Commercial Pilot Certificate, Multi-Engine Rating, Flight Instructor Rating, and Instrument Instructor Rating. I also enjoyed jumping out of airplanes, even the "perfectly good" ones. That was all in another life. When I talk about the "air band", I do have a small clue.

Cookies are not used. Personal information is not collected. All questions are rhetorical. Having fun with Hobby Radio is merely practice for EOTWAWKI communications. Play more! All outbound links are affiliate links. If you purchase through one of my links, I will earn a commission. My station is shown below. Antennas are a Zero-Five 10-40 meter ground plane, a Ringo Ranger II, a VHF-UHF J-Pole, and a discone (storm antenna) in the attic. I don't use amplifiers. For me, that makes the hunt more rewarding. You do what makes you happy.
